We can’t imagine a more glowing review than THIS ! Thank you, Emily, for sharing your reaction to the highlights film we created for you and John, and for sharing your Inkspot Crow experience with your readers!
We’ve known Emily longer than most brides we get to work with. First, we knew her by reputation (Em is a dear friend of my sister’s and the Creative Director of our favorite wedding magazine and blog, Southern Weddings). Then we got to capture her at work HERE. Over time, we’ve come to have a tremendous amount of respect for Emily’s creativity, poise, and leadership in our industry. So even before meeting John we knew he must be incredibly special to have matched with a gal as great as Em. Our hunch proved correct, and as John’s best man will eloquently point out in this film, the effect of their greatness is multiplied when they are together. We first got to know John over breakfast at Fosters in Durham, and a chat about hiking (namely his awesome blog, John Takes A Hike), music choices, babies (ours, not theirs) and their relocation to the South. Meeting their families in Connecticut this September solidified our admiration for our new friends; we are now officially big “John & Emily” fans, like so many others we met at their wedding!
John + Emily,
Thank you for allowing us into your lives and choosing us to capture such beauty (you truly planned an awesome event!) and important moments. We are inspired by your faith, your ability to evolve individually and as a couple over so many years together, and the joy you two bring to those who know you. We’ll look forward to some fun together in the (near!) future!
We were quite excited when we heard Kendall & Patrick’s Highlands wedding photos would be featured in the latest issue of Weddings Unveiled. If you haven’t picked up a copy of this issue yet, you should run and do it now! Genya, of Vue Photography, provided the magazine with a ton of great images from this wedding, and we were so happy to see such a large spread dedicated to two fantastic people! Thank you, dear WU editors, for sharing this wonderful story with your readers! If you haven’t seen Kendall + Patrick’s wedding highlights film, click here.
PJ & Sarah,
Thanks, friends, for giving us a clear glimpse into your life together through this process. You inspire us in how you care for one another and how much you value tradition and your families. Sarah, after getting to know you, it makes complete sense that you’d wear your mother’s dress, and celebrate your wedding in Roaring Gap, where your family enjoyed summers together and where your relationship with PJ grew. PJ, you blew us away with the thoughtfulness of your toast on your wedding night. Indeed, life has evolved for you two from the days when you met at Princeton. It makes us smile and nod when we heard you claim that the happiest time of your life is right now. When we see you guys together, we have no doubt about it!
Allison & Andrew,
Thanks for introducing us to Milwaukee! We loved it (especially your city’s beer!). Your families are filled with joy, and we adored the familial aspect of your wedding so much. The support and admiration your family has for you two is very palpable and we hope we captured their love and joy, as well as yours, in your films. We think you two are super, and we know that you will continue to have awesome adventures together, whether it be exploring your neighborhood in Boston, skiing in Colorado or enjoying another trip abroad. Keep smiling and taking care of each other! We’re so glad we got to know you guys!
